Job Details

Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams and delivering predictable business results.
Experience building and delivering mobile products at scale, preferably Android applications serving large customer bases.
Experience working in complex mobile codebases with multiple engineers and cross-functional contributors.
Strong technical expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Android development.
Ability to guide technical decisions, architecture, and engineering priorities.
Experience communicating technical designs, participating in architectural discussions, and influencing engineering direction.
Ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with cross-team initiatives and broader organizational responsibilities.
Interest in adopting and promoting AI tools and emerging engineering practices.

Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of engineering initiatives for Android POS payment experiences.
Drive cross-functional initiatives with POS, Fintech, Product, and UX teams.
Partner with Product and UX to maintain a prioritized engineering backlog.
Oversee software quality and delivery, including production monitoring, issue resolution, and reliability improvements.
Partner with technical leaders on engineering strategy, architecture, codebase improvements, and development practices.
Hire, onboard, coach, and support the professional growth of engineers.
Provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and encourage team ownership and problem-solving.
Support development of web-based POS payment configuration experiences.
Promote AI tools and practices to improve development speed, productivity, and software quality.
