Requirements
- Experience leading and mentoring successful teams to deliver predictable business results.
- Experience delivering mobile products to a large customer base; Android experience is preferred.
- Experience working in mobile codebases with a large number of developers.
- Strong technical background in Java, Kotlin, and Android.
- Experience managing a mix of core contributions and cross-team engagements.
- Experience communicating technical designs and contributing to the design process.
- Willingness to get hands-on and go deep to help the team reach its goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive planning, scheduling, and execution of business outcomes for POS payments.
- Coordinate cross-team and cross-organization efforts, especially across POS and Fintech.
- Work with product managers and UX to maintain an actionable, valuable team backlog.
- Ensure end-to-end software quality and delivery, including monitoring and production issue ownership.
- Partner with technical leaders to set technical direction and improve architecture, codebase, and engineering practices.
- Hire and develop team members.
- Coach engineers in their professional and technical development.
- Promote AI tools and practices to accelerate development and improve team velocity.
