Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in residential construction or custom home building.
- Have a strong understanding of residential construction processes, terminology, project workflows, and building practices.
- Have experience managing construction projects, coordinating teams, and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to oversee project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and execution.
- Have a background in civil engineering, construction management, building trades, or a related discipline; this is strongly preferred.
- Understand construction operations and coordination between office teams and field personnel.
- Bring strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Be able to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate with a distributed team.
- Be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with U.S. Central Time.
- Hands-on construction-site or building-trades experience is a plus.
- Experience with custom home builds, single-family residential construction, or multifamily projects is a plus.
- Experience managing construction teams, estimating teams, or field operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, design coordination, and residential construction planning is a plus.
- Experience with Buildertrend or other residential construction project management software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple residential construction projects from initial scope development and planning through execution and completion.
- Develop and coordinate scopes of work with field leadership and design teams.
- Establish, monitor, and update project schedules to meet milestones and delivery deadlines.
- Track project budgets, costs, and performance metrics, and address variances.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
- Work with the Director of Construction, Design Manager, and sales and estimating teams to align project requirements and priorities.
- Manage requests for quotations, permits, project documentation, and administrative requirements.
- Coordinate materials planning and procurement.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and develop solutions.
- Coordinate office operations with on-site construction activities while maintaining communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
