Requirements
- Bring 12+ years of industry experience in business technology, enterprise systems, digital transformation, or technical program leadership.
- Have 5+ years of experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate a track record setting and delivering multi-year strategy for a company-wide technology or transformation program with executive visibility.
- Have experience leading business technology consulting, solutions engineering, or IT business partnering for non-technical teams, including influencing product and vendor roadmaps.
- Have experience owning the quality, reliability, and support of technology solutions in production.
- Be able to build trusted relationships with and influence C-level and E-Team executives, including aligning or challenging senior leaders on priorities.
- Bring deep, hands-on understanding of generative AI tools and agentic workflows and their effects on non-technical work.
- Be able to define measurement frameworks, interpret adoption and impact data, and ensure data quality and credibility at an executive level.
- Have experience leading through ambiguity and rapid change, and designing operating models across teams without direct authority.
- Have experience attracting, hiring, and developing senior talent and managers across regions.
- Preferred: experience leading enterprise AI adoption or change management at a large technology company.
- Preferred: experience managing external consulting partners and globally distributed teams.
- Be able to travel as needed, approximately 10 to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the multi-year strategy for AI adoption and impact across Airbnb's non-technical functions.
- Assess capability gaps and emerging AI trends, and translate findings into a roadmap and investment plan.
- Simplify business technology tools by steering teams to supported solutions and addressing gaps.
- Set organizational OKRs and success criteria, and hold teams and partners accountable for delivery.
- Establish a framework for functions to define, measure, and report AI business impact.
- Partner with executives on AI transformation and provide regular readouts to executive and senior Tech leaders.
- Influence the AI tooling roadmap with platform and product teams based on non-technical users' needs.
- Set quality, reliability, and security standards for AI solutions, and own production issues and fixes.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary, globally distributed organization.
- Direct external partner and consulting engagements, including scope, governance, and return on investment.
