Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in product and UI/UX design.
- Use design tools such as Figma, FigJam, or Adobe Creative Suite; equivalent tools are acceptable.
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating web-based interface design experience.
- Understand responsive and adaptive design across multiple form factors.
- Be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, if requested.
- Nice to have: experience designing simultaneous content editing.
- Nice to have: experience designing large-scale, real-time data visualization.
- Nice to have: basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Nice to have: experience in an Agile environment with Atlassian collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead Designer and engineering teams to understand user problems and use cases and help prioritize and design features.
- Create UI/UX designs for specific views and functionality while contributing to a cohesive suite of products.
- Use the existing design system to apply established concepts to new feature requirements.
- Suggest ways to migrate older interfaces and functionality to new products.
- Meet with internal team members and customers to understand their needs and use cases.
- Present designs and gather feedback.
- Conduct usability testing of new and existing interfaces and processes.
