Requirements
- Have 2 to 4 years of experience in test automation or a similar role.
- Have hands-on experience with Python 3 or another object-oriented programming language.
- Understand programming fundamentals, including object-oriented programming.
- Have experience automating REST APIs or similar interfaces.
- Have working knowledge of Linux.
- Understand the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Have experience with Git and an issue tracker such as JIRA.
- Bring analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Selenium experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with pytest or Robot Framework is a plus.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with multithreading or concurrency concepts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and run end-to-end automated tests for the Five9 Virtual Contact Center application.
- Analyze test results using framework and product logs.
- Investigate test failures, with guidance from senior teammates when needed.
- Implement features and fixes in the Python automation framework and internal tools.
- Improve test stability and efficiency, including reducing flaky tests.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and TechOps to resolve issues and clarify testing needs.
- Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and Increment planning.
- Share ideas for improving tools and processes.
