Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of experience in data engineering or data quality/data governance.
- Have extensive practical experience with Python and advanced SQL.
- Have hands-on experience processing data with Apache Spark.
- Have commercial experience with Collibra, including data cataloging, quality rule definition, and Data Governance.
- Have very good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
- Have English proficiency at B2/C1 level for communication in an international team.
- Know French or Dutch well; this is required for contact with Benelux teams.
- Be available to start quickly, immediately or after a short notice period.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and develop data quality rules and frameworks in distributed data ecosystems.
- Manage data quality, metadata, and data lineage processes using Collibra.
- Write SQL queries, Python scripts, and Bash automation for data profiling, cleaning, validation, and quality monitoring.
- Process large-scale datasets using Apache Spark.
- Identify data anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive controls.
- Work with Data Engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data quality metrics and SLA indicators.
- Integrate data quality tests with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration processes.
