Requirements
- Have 5–8 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
- Bring experience in trade, design, hospitality, or a related relationship-driven, high-touch sales environment, ideally.
- Demonstrate a track record of sourcing and closing net-new accounts, rather than only managing an existing book of business.
- Be able to work independently and remotely and self-manage a pipeline without day-to-day oversight.
- Be familiar with or comfortable using AI tools to support prospecting and outreach workflows.
- Have strong phone and relationship-building skills.
- Be comfortable serving as the primary point of contact and fielding calls directly with prospects.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new B2B accounts, including interior designers, design firms, hotels, and hospitality groups.
- Build and manage a pipeline of larger accounts focused on repeat purchasing and long-term retention.
- Field inbound and outbound calls with prospective trade and hospitality accounts.
- Use AI tools for prospecting, list-building, messaging, and follow-up.
- Implement and oversee AI-driven workflows, writing prompts, validating outputs, and iterating based on results.
- Own funnel metrics and pipeline health, and improve CRM discipline, reporting, and forecasting.
- Build processes for lead routing, opportunity tracking, and follow-up; identify ways to shorten sales cycles and improve conversion.
- Coordinate account handoffs with the inbound and existing-accounts owner.
- Partner with merchandising, operations, and vendor teams on inventory planning and special orders.
