Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of product design experience building and shipping consumer or B2B products end to end.
- Provide a portfolio featuring shipped modern desktop B2B or SaaS products, with clear examples of problem-solving and outcomes.
- Have experience creating design systems, design standards, and documentation for product teams.
- Be proficient with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for mockups and prototypes.
- Have experience working closely with product and engineering teams.
- Have familiarity with frontend implementation and HTML/CSS.
- Have experience gathering user feedback through research, usability testing, or qualitative methods.
- Be available for a fractional commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Early-stage startup or fractional design experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Own visual and interaction design across key desktop product experiences.
- Establish design systems, standards, and documentation for the team.
- Make product strategy and design decisions with limited information, then iterate based on user feedback.
- Partner with product and engineering to implement designs and address technical constraints.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and other feedback gathering.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes and support design-to-code handoff.
