Requirements
- Have 5+ years in product design with demonstrable impact on shipped products.
- Be proficient in product design, UX, UI, and qualitative research, delivering polished, detail-oriented work.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and understand how software is built, including common web technologies.
- Show genuine curiosity about APIs, webhooks, data structures, and how workflows execute.
- Have shipped end-to-end features in smaller teams or startups and driven complex problems to measurable outcomes.
- Work quickly in an MVP-driven environment, balancing quality and velocity amid ambiguity.
- Use research and metrics to inform decisions and deliver solutions that enable team KPIs.
- Give and receive actionable feedback constructively.
- Show enthusiasm for AI and actively explore tools and approaches that advance design practice.
- Nice to have: prototype using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with or without AI coding tools.
- Nice to have: experience designing AI or automation products; familiarity with n8n.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Continuous Discovery, Shape Up, metrics, A/B testing, or SQL.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full design process for your team, from discovery to polished delivery, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
- Ship high-quality, visually cohesive designs that improve the user experience.
- Take ownership of complex, multi-faceted problems and drive them to completion.
- Set research direction, choose appropriate methods, and run interviews and usability tests.
- Gather, synthesize, and act on feedback while providing actionable critique.
- Integrate design solutions into the broader platform and account for edge cases and constraints.
- Collaborate across teams and designers to maintain consistency across shared patterns and components.
- Influence planning, prioritization, and scope with a design perspective tied to KPIs.
- Explore AI and automation tools to advance design practice and AI-powered workflows.
