Requirements
- Demonstrate Staff-level technical leadership by turning ambiguous goals into shipped, adopted results across multiple teams.
- Show technical decisions owned, hands-on contribution, and how the work continued to deliver value.
- Bring strong product judgment and experience building customer-facing SaaS products.
- Experience across growth, onboarding, activation, or self-service journeys is preferred.
- Use customer insight and quantitative signals to assess product outcomes and guide iteration.
- Develop other engineers through ownership, coaching, and feedback.
- Work through ambiguity, learn unfamiliar domains, and make progress with a bias toward action.
- Use AI in day-to-day work, build fluency through experimentation, and apply sound judgment to maintain a high quality bar.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve reliable customer-facing software and shared platform capabilities using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Use customer research and product analytics to identify friction across evaluation, trials, onboarding, first value, purchasing, and expansion.
- Lead complex, multi-quarter initiatives from technical roadmap and architecture through delivery and adoption.
- Sequence work across teams and use conversion, activation, time to value, retention, and expansion measures to assess outcomes.
- Give engineers ownership of important work and coach them through scope, technical choices, and partner collaboration.
- Own technical direction for major Growth product and platform domains, balancing customer value, delivery speed, reliability, and flexibility.
- Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and engineering teams to connect customer needs to technical solutions.
- Clarify decisions and dependencies, resolve disagreements, and communicate technical approaches across teams.
