Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of professional office experience, including at least 1 year in the mortgage or banking industry.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships and execute retention and lead-generation marketing initiatives.
- Have general fluency in FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.
- Have experience with Encompass LOS or similar mortgage software.
- Be proficient in Google Workspace.
- Show strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline.
- Preferred: direct experience with Blend and/or Salesforce.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a Loan Originator or Senior Processor.
- Preferred: national and multi-state NMLS licensing maintained within the past 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for client retention and new-to-bank growth.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and key centers of influence.
- Pull and analyze credit reports and review income and asset documentation to assist MLOs with loan structuring.
- Run Desktop Underwriter, prepare files for submission, and request or clear underwriting conditions.
- Serve as the primary contact for borrowers and realtors, providing status updates.
- Collect initial application information by phone, schedule appointments, and manage MLO calendars.
- Track document requests in Encompass and Salesforce, and review incoming files within 24 hours for discrepancies or omissions.
- Collaborate with MLOs and underwriters to resolve file issues and documentation gaps.
- Follow company policy and state and federal regulatory guidelines, including RESPA and TILA.
