Requirements
- Exceptional knowledge of mechanistic and/or forensic toxicology.
- A demonstrated publication record.
- Prior experience applying toxicological principles to diverse exposure scenarios.
- A Ph.D., M.S., or international equivalent and above.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in a toxicology-related industry role.
- Experience handling confidential information and reading and summarizing forensic, scientific, and legal documentation.
- Business development skills, including public speaking and in-person meetings.
- Proficiency with online interaction and meeting tools such as Zoom and Teams.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience in budget management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, and work agreed-upon hours; weekend work may be periodically required.
- Ability to travel 10%–20%.
Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and product evaluations to determine potential exposure levels and health risks.
- Convey findings to clients in a meaningful way that addresses the question at hand.
- Write for scientific, legal, and lay audiences.
- Capture, manage, and efficiently handle casework and caseload.
- Communicate with leadership, colleagues, and clients throughout projects.
- Develop and transmit budgets.
- Provide litigation, scientific liaison, and regulatory toxicology support to clients as needed.
- Prepare and provide testimony in legal or legislative environments.
- Contribute to business development and pursue new opportunities collaboratively.
