Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development, AI/ML, data science, or a related technical field.
- Good working knowledge of Python and fundamental software development concepts.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML, NLP, generative AI, and large language models.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search concepts.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and application integration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
- Preferred: exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
- Preferred: familiarity with vector databases and Liferay Portal/DXP.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for business applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to build LLM-powered applications, chatbots, AI assistants, and knowledge management solutions.
- Develop Python scripts, applications, APIs, and reusable AI components.
- Explore and implement prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and LLM integrations.
- Assist with structured and unstructured data preparation, processing, and analysis.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications using REST APIs and other technologies.
- Support application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software development teams on AI-powered user experiences.
- Contribute to AI-enabled features within enterprise portals and platforms, including Liferay.
- Support responsive web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
