Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, systems design, product or IT consulting, or a related field.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Understand Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Have experience managing business analysis activities across the software development lifecycle.
- Have hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data analysis tools.
- Understand APIs, data models, and enterprise system integrations, and be able to assess system dependencies and technical solutions.
- Be proficient with requirements management, collaboration, and process documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, Miro, or Draw.io.
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex requirements and recommend practical solutions.
- Have communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Be able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder workshops to understand business needs and translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Map current-state and future-state business processes, identify gaps, and recommend workflow optimization and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to assess system capabilities and integration opportunities.
- Manage requirements traceability and support development and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing, coordinate defect resolution, and help ensure solutions meet business requirements before release.
- Evaluate system enhancements, conduct impact assessments and root cause analyses, and support solution decisions.
- Support system implementations, migrations, and releases, and help drive user adoption through documentation and training.
- Maintain process maps, functional specifications, system workflows, and other business analysis documentation.
- Use data analysis tools and business information to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and provide guidance or mentorship to fellow business analysts.
