Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of overall software engineering experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on production Python development experience.
- Use AI agents and frontier AI models daily to build software.
- Demonstrate the ability to use LLMs independently to learn unfamiliar technical areas, work across unfamiliar codebases, and deliver software solutions.
- Have experience in system design for distributed services.
- Have a strong understanding of API design and data modelling.
- Maintain high standards for software testing, correctness, and observability.
- Be able to own features and projects from understanding customer requirements through resolving customer problems.
- Be willing to communicate directly with customers and focus on their needs.
- Be able to identify urgent priorities, work autonomously, and make decisions while maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
- Be able to clearly explain technical decisions, implementation approaches, and solutions.
- Be available to work remotely during UK working hours.
Responsibilities
- Build the Agent Control Plane so customers can run and manage fleets of AI agents.
- Design, develop, and deliver Python services for security detection, investigation, and AI-assisted resolution.
- Build the AI agent layer, including tool calling, Model Context Protocol integrations, and human approval mechanisms before actions on live systems.
- Model and query large security datasets using ClickHouse while ensuring strict tenant isolation.
- Own assigned projects end to end, from understanding customer problems through solution delivery.
- Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and resolve their problems.
- Manage priorities, communicate and collaborate with the team, and deliver high-impact work.
- Use AI agents and frontier models to learn unfamiliar technologies, navigate unfamiliar codebases, and manage multiple projects.
