RESTful APIs

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years in technical program management, technical product management, solutions architecture, solutions engineering, or integration engineering.
  • Have direct ownership of external-facing technical work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive engineering execution and own roadmap delivery without direct authority.
  • Bring practical fluency with REST APIs, authentication patterns, webhooks, data mapping and normalization, and third-party dependency failure modes.
  • Be comfortable debugging distributed systems using logs, traces, and payloads.
  • Have experience working directly with external technical teams and maintaining technical positions while preserving relationships.
  • Demonstrate strong written communication; specifications and documentation are core deliverables.
  • Have hands-on experience using AI tools and verifying their output against source documentation.
  • Preferred: experience in identity, fraud, risk, KYC/KYB, credit, or data-provider ecosystems.
  • Preferred: experience with third-party data vendors, API versioning and deprecation, partner marketplaces, developer platforms, or certification programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own partner integration programs from discovery and technical scope through specifications, sequencing, and launch readiness.
  • Drive the integration pod’s roadmap, priorities, and capacity tradeoffs without directly managing its engineers.
  • Establish reusable integration patterns for authentication, data mapping, error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
  • Evaluate partner APIs, data models, SLAs, and support posture, and align partners on integration approaches.
  • Define marketplace integration requirements, certification, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support Solutions and Implementation teams with partner product expertise and customer configuration across sandbox and production.
  • Triage and resolve integration escalations, define monitoring requirements, and run recurring remediation audits.
  • Own integration specifications, API references, configuration guides, and troubleshooting runbooks; use and verify AI-assisted drafting.
