Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bring strong backend engineering depth.
- Be proficient in Python 3 and microservice architectures.
- Have experience designing and scaling distributed systems and APIs.
- Be familiar with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, and data modeling at scale.
- Be proficient and comfortable using AI-powered coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Be comfortable contributing across the stack, with interest in backend challenges.
- Have strong communication and mentorship skills.
- Experience with freight, logistics, or B2B SaaS platforms is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale core backend systems for truckload freight.
- Own architectural decisions that support reliable and secure scaling.
- Design features in collaboration with product and engineering leadership.
- Develop technical solutions that balance scale, performance, and customer impact.
- Contribute across the stack, including backend systems and related product features.
- Mentor engineers and help them develop their skills.
- Contribute to AI tools that automate carrier sales and email operations.
