  • Be proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
  • Have experience keeping large-scale SaaS or distributed systems reliable, including on-call and incident response.

  • Own small-to-medium features from requirements refinement and technical design through production rollout.
  • Work with engineering teams to understand their needs, refine requirements, and identify underspecified work.

  • Keep owned services reliable and cost-efficient by right-sizing cloud resources and tuning telemetry volume.
  • Automate repetitive operational work to reduce toil and pager load.
  • Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, following security, compliance, and change-management procedures.
  • Take part in on-call, troubleshoot production issues, improve runbooks and dashboards, lead postmortems, and follow corrective actions through.
  • Review peers’ code and designs and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor teammates and share knowledge through documentation, demos, and internal talks.
