Requirements
- Bring expert SQL skills.
- Have enough Python skill to automate statistical-significance calculations.
- Be comfortable working with dbt and Lightdash and building models independently.
- Know how Segment events and Flagsmith randomization interact, and identify instrumentation issues before tests launch.
- Understand experiment design, including power, significance, novelty and interaction effects, and when not to test.
- Be fluent in CAC, LTV, channel economics, attribution challenges, seasonality, and channel mix.
- Use AI regularly for SQL, dbt, and analysis; be prepared to extend existing Claude routines.
- Turn analysis into clear recommendations and explain uncertainty to PMs and marketers.
- Work across Growth experiments involving web funnels, SMS/drip, sales-driven tests, and SEO.
Responsibilities
- Design Growth experiments, including power and sample-size decisions, significance standards, and readouts.
- Apply anytime-valid monitoring to Growth tests and identify underpowered tests and false positives.
- Extend automated Growth metrics in Lightdash, Python-backed statistical-significance tooling, and existing Claude routines.
- Build and maintain an instrumented acquisition-to-conversion funnel across brands and channels.
- Provide CAC, LTV, and conversion-rate analyses to support Growth investment decisions.
- Partner with the Director of CRO, performance marketing, and Growth PMs to shape test decisions and communicate findings.
- Improve test automation so routine tests can be self-served.
- Develop experimentation standards and a playbook, and provide a buy-versus-build recommendation for the experimentation stack.
