Requirements
- Have solid experience as a data analyst or BI analyst.
- Bring strong hands-on SQL skills for querying, validating, and reconciling data.
- Have hands-on experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
- Have experience with a data-quality or reconciliation framework or methodology, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
- Have experience with financial or accounting data, FP&A, or Mortgage, including closed-period reconciliation constraints.
- Have hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and clear written documentation of data quality findings.
- Be fluent in English at B2 level.
Responsibilities
- Define and run data quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated data, approved Finance benchmarks, and closed accounting periods.
- Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards against their legacy-source output, including parallel-run comparisons during cutover.
- Profile and investigate data quality issues and reconciliation variances with Data Engineering, identifying and documenting root causes.
- Build and maintain data quality dashboards or reports in Power BI or an equivalent BI tool.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality thresholds for reporting deliverables.
- Produce reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, and sign-off packages required at delivery gates.
- Document data quality rules and known issues for the client's team to maintain after handoff.
