Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of data engineering experience designing, building, and scaling pipelines and cloud infrastructure from the ground up.
- Demonstrate experience activating data infrastructure for dynamic, real-time downstream applications, beyond batch ETL/ELT or static warehousing.
- Have direct experience building data layers for real-time, event-driven applications, vector databases, or RAG at scale.
- Have strong experience with major cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have experience with modern cloud data stacks such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Have experience using AI-assisted development tools, agentic coding, and automated engineering workflows.
- Have a track record of mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
- Be located in Latin America.
- Be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale low-latency data infrastructure connecting cloud data lakes and warehouses to AI backends and real-time agentic workflows.
- Operationalize static data repositories as context layers, vector engines, and memory systems for autonomous AI agents and downstream applications.
- Build real-time ingestion, event-driven streaming, and retrieval pipelines, including RAG, vector stores, and operational databases.
- Establish data architecture standards, CI/CD, documentation, and data quality practices.
- Mentor data engineers and set engineering standards.
- Partner with Machine Learning Engineers, Product teams, Creative Directors, and agency stakeholders to translate requirements into production-grade data APIs and schemas.
- Use AI-powered coding, agentic engineering, and automated workflows to accelerate development.
