Requirements
- Have 5+ years building production web interfaces in React and TypeScript.
- Demonstrate strong HTML, CSS, and responsive layout skills.
- Be comfortable working with Tailwind.
- Work directly from Figma files to inspect specifications and extract tokens and spacing.
- Integrate REST APIs and handle authentication, loading, empty, and error states.
- Have experience with at least one of Vitest, Jest, or Playwright.
- Be familiar with coding agents and exercise practical judgment about when to use them.
- Communicate clearly in writing with designers, backend engineers, and product.
- Radix UI or a shadcn-style component system is a bonus.
- TanStack Query, React Router, or Next.js experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across customer-facing and internal applications in Rails-embedded and standalone environments.
- Add components to the shared component library and document them in Storybook.
- Implement designs from Figma with fidelity and flag gaps or inconsistencies in specifications.
- Improve rendering, bundle size, large-list, and upload performance where needed.
- Maintain existing test coverage and extend it where needed.
- Investigate production issues with Sentry and PostHog.
