Requirements
- Have hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads.
- Know Linux servers, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS fundamentals.
- Have practical experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Be able to review infrastructure plans and manage changes across environments.
- Have proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, and Docker container build pipelines.
- Be confident writing Bash and Python scripts.
- Have working knowledge of GCP, particularly GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager.
- Apply a security-conscious approach to credentials and access permissions.
- Communicate clearly during code reviews and incidents, investigate unfamiliar systems, and explain technical trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, including node health, networking, and application deployments.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
- Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks.
- Execute safe infrastructure changes with clear validation and rollback plans.
- Enforce secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve system stability and performance.
