Requirements
- Have 10+ years of accounting experience, including management of an accounting team.
- Bring public accounting experience; this is strongly preferred.
- Have experience with general ledger accounting system implementation and integration; this is a strong plus.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Be proficient with NetSuite.
- Have strong technical and practical knowledge of GAAP accounting.
- Be familiar with a three-statement model.
- Hold a professional qualification.
Responsibilities
- Manage the global monthly close process.
- Directly supervise the Global Accounting team.
- Oversee customer invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and treasury administration.
- Act as the primary liaison with external accountants.
- Lead the year-end audit.
- Administer NetSuite and accounting applications as the subject-matter expert.
- Help create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve, and document accounting issues.
- Develop procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of close and reporting processes.
