Job Details

Have 5–8+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
Have strong Python development skills and experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
Have professional Java experience, including the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and contribute to existing services.
Have experience with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Have experience with pytest and building reliable, maintainable backend applications.
Have deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
Have experience designing and maintaining microservices and distributed systems.
Be familiar with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML backend integration patterns.
Have experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Have an application security mindset and experience identifying and remediating codebase and dependency vulnerabilities.
Have strong written and verbal English proficiency.

Design, build, and deploy scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines primarily using Python on Google Cloud Platform.
Develop backend capabilities in Python and maintain and enhance existing Java services.
Use Python frameworks, testing tools, APIs, and cloud services to deliver backend solutions.
Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into backend applications and support AI-driven workflows.
Modernize and optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and reliability.
Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, maintain test coverage, and produce technical documentation.
Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams.
