Job Details

Bring 4+ years of backend development experience, including building, integrating, and operating production services.
Demonstrate strong command of Python and experience building REST APIs with FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
Design modular, maintainable software using principles such as SOLID and separation of concerns.
Apply automated testing best practices.
Integrate APIs and distributed systems, including authentication, error handling, timeouts, retries, and resiliency patterns.
Use asynchronous processing and messaging systems, including queues, dead-letter handling, and idempotency.
Bring strong SQL and relational database skills, including modeling, querying, migrations, and ORM usage.
Have experience with Docker and deploying containerized services.
Bring hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Have experience with monitoring, Git version control, and participation in CI/CD processes.

Design, develop, and evolve backend services and REST APIs with Python and FastAPI.
Build and operate the communications dispatch service, integrating message queues and external APIs.
Apply idempotency, retries, rate limiting, and error handling to dispatch integrations.
Integrate and orchestrate Azure services, databases, third-party APIs, and data processes such as Databricks.
Design and maintain Azure SQL persistence, including data modeling, migrations, data integrity, and query optimization.
Implement production monitoring, tracing, automated testing, and failure recovery mechanisms.
Collaborate with development, data, and IT/DevOps teams on technical decisions and component integration.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and deployments across environments, and maintain technical documentation.
