- Have 5–8+ years of professional backend engineering experience working with both Java and Python.
- Bring deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
- Have hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and core backend systems.
- Be familiar with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML backend integration patterns.
- Have experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Have experience identifying and fixing codebase and dependency security vulnerabilities.
- Have strong written and verbal English proficiency.
- Collaborate effectively across product, data, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable microservices, data pipelines, and APIs using Java, Python, and GCP.
- Modernize and optimize core cloud infrastructure for high availability and seamless data flow.
- Use GitHub Copilot in daily engineering workflows to improve development velocity and code quality.
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities to protect applications and data.
- Conduct code reviews and promote high test coverage, clean code practices, and detailed technical documentation.
