Requirements
- Hold an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification; qualification in process is acceptable.
- Have 4+ years of progressively responsible experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Excel.
- Have AI skills, such as experience with Claude or Copilot.
- Be able to work in a remote team environment.
- Bring critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SAGE Intacct accounting software is a plus.
- Exposure to international groups and IFRS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to various finance functions.
- Implement and maintain systems, software, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain controls over accounting transactions.
- Develop financial and operating metrics and recommend improvements.
- Use AI tools to streamline and automate processes.
- Assist with interim and annual audit requests and prepare monthly reporting packages, including financial statements.
- Support government reporting and tax filings, the annual budget, and monthly forecasts.
- Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing, payment collection, cash receipts, and client account updates.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain cash flow spreadsheets for assigned legal entities.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments on business initiatives and process improvements.
