Requirements
- Hold an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification; candidates currently working toward a qualification are acceptable.
- Have 4+ years of progressively responsible experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Excel.
- Have AI skills, such as experience with Claude or Copilot.
- Be able to work in a remote team environment.
- Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with trustworthiness.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bring critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SAGE Intacct is a bonus.
- Exposure to international groups and IFRS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support various finance functions and maintain accounting systems, software, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain controls over accounting transactions.
- Develop financial and operating metrics and recommend improvements.
- Use AI tools to streamline and automate processes.
- Assist with interim and annual audit requests.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly reporting packages, including financial statements.
- Support local government reporting and tax filings.
- Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
- Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment collection.
- Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and update cash flow spreadsheets for assigned legal entities.
