Requirements
- Approximately 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development.
- Practical experience with Go, Python, or another comparable backend programming language.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, debugging techniques, version control, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases, and developing or integrating backend services.
- Basic understanding of cloud-native applications, containerized environments, and distributed system concepts.
- Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted coding tools, critically evaluate generated code, and take ownership of the resulting implementation.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, including methodical investigation of technical issues.
- Communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to work effectively with engineering colleagues.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, PostgreSQL, asynchronous processing, message queues, event-driven architectures, gRPC, or service-to-service APIs.
- Exposure to data-processing services, multi-tenant SaaS applications, external cloud or SaaS integrations, or AI/ML platforms and APIs is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines using Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Manage assigned features through implementation, automated testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Work with containerized applications, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, implementation, testing, debugging, and code exploration, and validate their outputs.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Investigate software defects, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve stability and performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, automation, and production operations.
- Apply technical feedback, production insights, and engineering standards to improve architecture, workflows, and delivery quality.
