Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted PA-C or PMHNP license in the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are rendered.
- Have at least 1 year of clinical experience in psychiatry.
- Ascend Healthcare system experience is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience is preferred.
- Prior policy and procedure development experience is preferred.
- Maintain access to a quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable internet connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, balancing clinical scheduling with administrative responsibilities.
- Monitor assigned BHMPs' productivity, documentation timeliness, and schedule utilization.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues.
- Support onboarding and integration of new BHMPs.
- Coach providers, conduct bi-annual performance evaluations, and support professional development.
- Address routine clinical questions while directing providers to supervision and CEED guidance channels.
- Participate in training, orientation, chart reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Contribute to policy and procedure development, compliance initiatives, and resolution of patient complaints.
- Coordinate with Clinical Operations, CEED, and Therapy leadership to optimize workflows and training programs.
