Requirements
- 12+ years' communications agency experience or relevant experience in a related field.
- Relevant experience may include marketing, advocacy, health or science roles involving public and private sector entities, or expertise in the health sector.
- Experience overseeing multiple significant media programs and complex client engagements.
- Experience supporting junior staff and account needs across an agency.
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
- Experience winning new business and organically growing existing accounts.
- Verbal and written communication skills for internal and external audiences.
- Presentation skills and the ability to coach team members.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage strategic media and communications plans and campaigns across the agency.
- Oversee media strategy recommendations for clients and account teams.
- Lead strategic counsel and scenario planning for media activities during crises.
- Oversee the development and implementation of media programs and the quality of deliverables.
- Manage multiple client relationships and build relationships with external groups and partners.
- Facilitate client workshops, events, and speaker training sessions.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, guide their professional growth, and lead performance reviews.
- Partner with account teams on integrated programming recommendations.
- Develop and oversee media plans for new business and provide strategic input into new business programs.
