Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience building mobile apps.
- Bring experience with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
- Demonstrate strong mobile engineering craft, including attention to code quality and reliability.
- Lead by example through production coding and unblocking other engineers.
- Be able to lead architectural decision-making and make pragmatic engineering decisions.
- Have experience mentoring engineers and building trust.
- Bring experience with modern mobile tooling, CI/CD, testing, and cloud services.
- Be comfortable collaborating with Product, Design, and engineering leaders.
- Be available during PST/PDT hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of mobile features and contribute production code.
- Debug cross-platform problems spanning mobile, firmware, and backend.
- Improve platform reliability and contribute to initiatives that drive daily app engagement.
- Shape architectural problems and solutions with stakeholders, and bring proposals to Mobile Strategy and Engineering Forum meetings.
- Provide feedback and support to other engineers.
- Work with Product, Design, QA, and other stakeholders to scope, plan, and ship features.
- Champion AI-assisted development practices and help evaluate and implement the AI strategy.
- Drive mobile initiatives and contribute to roadmap and strategy decisions across the mobile organization.
