Requirements
- Have 2-3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably combining private and public accounting.
- Hold a BA/BS in Accounting; a CPA is desired.
- Have a detailed understanding of month-end close processes.
- Have thorough US GAAP expertise.
- Have advanced Excel and data transformation skills.
- Be able to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and an interest in simplifying and improving processes.
- Experience in e-commerce or technology industries is preferred.
- Prior experience with NetSuite, FloQast, ZIP, Gappify, or Workday is a bonus.
- Show curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve work efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned monthly GL close tasks and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Post journal entries, prepare reconciliations, perform analytics, and explain variances.
- Support close activities across international entities, including intercompany transactions and multi-currency balances.
- Assist with entity-level reporting in NetSuite and day-to-day finance operational tasks.
- Support external audit requirements for areas of responsibility.
- Own ad hoc projects, including process improvements, SOPs, memos, software implementation, and reconciliations for new entities.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional team members to deliver information to business partners.
