Requirements
- Have 2-3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably combining private and public accounting.
- Hold a BA/BS in Accounting.
- CPA is desired.
- Have a detailed understanding of month-end close processes.
- Have thorough expertise in US GAAP.
- Bring advanced Excel and data transformation skills.
- Be able to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and an interest in simplifying and improving processes.
- Experience in e-commerce or technology industries is preferred.
- Prior experience with NetSuite, FloQast, ZIP, Snowflake, and Sigma is a bonus.
- Show curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly revenue close, including detailed analytics and review of transaction processes for domestic and global revenue streams.
- Record journal entries and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations.
- Review customer and marketing agreements with cross-functional teams to support timely and accurate reporting.
- Support external audit requirements for assigned areas.
- Build standard operating procedures and reconciliations for new entities.
- Handle ad hoc projects and reporting, including process improvements and marketing contract review.
- Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver information to business partners.
