Requirements
- Have 10+ years of industry experience with a deep understanding of cybersecurity.
- Have prior experience in a cybersecurity consulting role.
- Have prior experience in a cybersecurity leadership role.
- Have experience authoring System Security Plans.
- Have experience supporting RMF or ATO-style processes.
- Know common regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and GDPR.
- Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospective and existing clients to understand their security needs and develop engagement plans.
- Lead and perform security assessments to identify gaps in clients’ security programs.
- Lead development of System Security Plans, including control selection, implementation statements, system categorization, and stakeholder coordination.
- Identify cybersecurity regulatory requirements and compliance gaps, and develop plans to achieve and maintain compliance.
- Develop and review policies, procedures, and other security program documentation.
- Document and present findings and recommendations to clients, including C-Suite and board-level executives.
- Manage advisory projects and maintain client relationships and communication.
- Train and mentor other employees and support business development from initial client calls through contract execution.
