Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years leading highly technical, diverse, and decentralized teams; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Hold DoD 8570 Level 2 certification.
- Know security principles and practices for Infrastructure as Code, including tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Demonstrate ability to embed security practices and testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Have experience with Tenable Nessus, Nessus Manager, and Tenable.sc, or other vulnerability scanning and management tools.
- Have basic working knowledge of DISA STIGs, including applying, verifying, and documenting compliance.
- Have experience conducting and documenting threat modeling exercises.
- Have basic fluency in RHEL, Windows, and/or network-device hardening and vulnerability management.
- Be familiar with Agile management and Jira.
- Preferred: experience with CSfC, eMASS and Xacta RMF packages, classified cloud environments, or CDS solutions; additional cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and leadership on cyber implementation for development projects, serving as backup to the Cyber Integration Team Lead.
- Oversee hardware, software, and network configuration changes and implement infrastructure security best practices.
- Guide team members to align their efforts with the Cyber Integration Team Lead’s goals.
- Work on cybersecurity items and system bug resolution as required.
- Implement highly technical solutions using advanced technologies.
- Assist in managing Jira tasking and artifacts.
- Coordinate with the Cyber Integration Team Lead to plan and assign work.
