Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, including strong hands-on OCI experience.
- Production-level experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud or Autonomous Database at scale is preferred.
- Exposure to multi-cloud architectures spanning OCI and AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and operate OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures.
- Design OCI networking topologies using VCNs, subnets, gateways, FastConnect, IPSec VPN, and DRG-based hub-and-spoke architectures.
- Build and maintain OCI infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Implement IAM policies, identity-provider federation, and RBAC patterns using OCI Identity Domains.
- Design and operate OCI compute, storage, and database services, including OKE and Oracle database offerings.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications using OCI DevOps or external platforms.
- Implement observability with OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize cloud costs and design disaster-recovery and business-continuity solutions.
- Strengthen OCI security and lead remediation of findings.
- Develop automation tooling and advise application teams on OCI-native design patterns.
