Requirements
- Track record leading finance transformation in a scaled technology company, including ERP or system change, process redesign, automation, and data modernization.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI and automation solutions in Finance.
- Practical fluency in AI, automation, and data, with judgment to turn them into business results while maintaining controls.
- Technical depth to engage with Machine Learning and Analytics Engineers about their work.
- Strong working knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and public-company reporting processes.
- Proven ability to lead through influence across Finance, Engineering, and Data.
- Strong analytical, executive communication, and change-leadership skills.
- Comfort moving between strategy and hands-on execution.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and own a multi-year Finance transformation roadmap, operating model, and success KPIs.
- Identify and scale AI and automation across Finance, redesigning workflows and establishing governance and human accountability.
- Simplify and automate transactional processes across FP&A, Procure-to-Pay, Quote-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit.
- Develop scalable analytical tools and products that provide forward-looking, predictive, and self-service financial insights.
- Set prioritization, governance, and accountability for major initiatives across Finance, Engineering, FinTech, Operations, Internal Audit, and the business.
- Oversee cross-functional project teams, external consultants, and technology vendors.
- Lead a team of about 20 across analytics engineering, ML engineering, program management, and finance systems support.
- Assess future Finance roles and capabilities, and partner with Finance leadership on talent strategy.
