Requirements
- Have 2+ years of tax, accounting, or related client-facing experience.
- Have a strong understanding of S Corporations and small business tax strategy.
- Bring experience with ongoing client relationship management.
- Be familiar with bookkeeping and payroll.
- Be familiar with CRM and workflow tools such as Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Be familiar with Xero, QBO, and Gusto.
- Be highly organized and proactive, and comfortable managing a large book of business in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to explain complex topics clearly.
- Be resourceful, adaptable, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
- Be available to members from 9am to 5pm Pacific Time.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 800 members as their dedicated success manager.
- Build relationships and proactively engage members based on their goals, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide year-round guidance tailored to members’ financial and business needs.
- Identify at-risk members and expansion opportunities to drive retention and growth.
- Educate members on S Corporations, tax strategy, reasonable salary decisions, and Collective’s services.
- Guide members through quarterly check-ins, estimated taxes, and ongoing business operations.
- Respond to member inquiries, resolve requests, and escalate when appropriate.
- Conduct proactive member calls and check-ins, and follow up on member feedback.
- Maintain documentation in Salesforce and internal systems, complete assigned workflows, and collaborate cross-functionally.
