Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting.
- Demonstrated director-level experience in a finance or accounting function.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing a team.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- CPA certification or an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience interpreting financial results, evaluating performance metrics, and developing financial models.
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively with regional and corporate finance and operations leaders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including managing competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly and quarterly projections for assigned business operations.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports and operating review materials.
- Coordinate annual planning, establish financial targets, and collaborate with vice presidents to define goals and performance expectations.
- Analyze financial results, key performance indicators, and internal benchmarks against plans and targets.
- Evaluate financial performance, including guarantees, food costs, labor expenses, working capital, and cash flow.
- Prepare and review financial projections to identify risks, opportunities, and deviations from business plans.
- Present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop financial models to evaluate proposed projects and investments.
- Direct specialized financial analyses and ad hoc reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts.
