Requirements
- Be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Have 8–10 years of relevant finance experience.
- Have experience working in B2B businesses, preferably B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology.
- Have strong experience managing India and US finance operations.
- Have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, and financial controls.
- Have experience with budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cash-flow management, and financial modelling.
- Have exposure to inter-company accounting and transfer pricing.
- Bring analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure across India and US entities.
- Ensure accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Manage accounting, AP/AR, invoicing, collections, payments, and inter-company transactions.
- Build financial controls, policies, and scalable finance processes.
- Own Indian statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and related filings, and coordinate US accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and variance analysis.
- Build management dashboards and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Support investor reporting, audits, fundraising, and financial due diligence.
