Job Details

Strong professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining production applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience building and operating distributed or event-driven architectures.
Understanding of failure modes, retries, consistency, idempotency, and service communication.
Experience using AI coding tools for substantial code migrations or modernization initiatives.
Experience migrating, re-platforming, or restructuring live systems while maintaining service availability and managing operational risks.
Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and data models, identify architectural weaknesses, and debug complex dependencies.
Ability to validate AI-generated code through testing, automated evaluations, code reviews, and quality controls.
Experience with cloud-based systems and production services; AWS experience is preferred.
Understanding of monitoring, observability, incident management, and operational reliability.
Frontend knowledge sufficient to trace issues from user interfaces through application services; React and Angular experience is beneficial.
Familiarity with agent harnesses, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols; practical experimentation is valuable.
Clear written communication, constructive code review practices, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Design and implement reliable backend workflows, including service boundaries, state ownership, idempotency, retries, and orchestration.
Develop, review, test, and deploy production Node.js and TypeScript code using AI coding agents such as Claude Code.
Apply agentic coding tools to complex engineering work by setting context, breaking down tasks, guiding execution, and validating generated code.
Create reference architectures, service templates, shared libraries, and code generators.
Plan and execute incremental migrations, framework upgrades, service rewrites, and architectural improvements while maintaining production continuity.
Develop and maintain MCP servers, agent tooling, evaluation scripts, automated checks, and supporting infrastructure.
Instrument services with metrics, alerts, dashboards, and distributed tracing; monitor system health and resolve production incidents.
Make targeted changes to React and Angular applications and investigate issues across application layers.
Work with product, growth, and engineering colleagues on technical solutions, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
Improve development workflows, automated testing, and AI-assisted software delivery.
