Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development.
- Demonstrate ownership of forecasting methodology or financial strategy, including driver-based modeling, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and unit economics.
- Bring strong analytical and data skills, including SQL and end-to-end financial modeling.
- Have experience managing or mentoring senior analysts and raising a team's technical bar.
- Be able to synthesize complex analysis into board- and executive-level materials.
- Be excited to use AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to improve day-to-day efficiency.
- Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Python, and BI tools is a plus.
- Insurtech, fintech, or financial-services experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own financial forecast methodology, processes, outputs, and driver-based models for key financials, revenue, cash balances, and margins.
- Lead the annual operating plan, budgeting cycle, and 3–5 year financial model in partnership with Accounting.
- Track KPIs and OKRs against plan, diagnose variances, and deliver forward-looking insights.
- Advise senior leadership on business performance and strategic financial decisions.
- Own P&L modeling and performance reporting, using analytical insights to support business decisions.
- Build and maintain a contract-level unit-economics framework and apply it to pricing, merchant deal reviews, and product investment decisions.
- Build ROI, scenario, and sensitivity models for strategic initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
- Partner with People and department leaders on workforce and capacity plans, and monitor budgets for major initiatives.
- Partner with Sales, Growth, Operations, Risk, and Accounting to align assumptions and turn financial insights into action.
- Develop the team and drive AI-native ways of working.
