Job Details

Have at least 3 years of professional experience with Haskell.
Bring strong proficiency in Haskell and its practical application to software development.
Have experience using the C programming language and working with systems-level code when needed.
Have strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including writing and working with PL/pgSQL scripts.
Have experience debugging applications in Linux environments.
Have a track record of contributing to open-source projects; maintaining an open-source project is an advantage.
Have experience providing technical support to users with different levels of technical knowledge.
Be able to investigate performance bottlenecks and improve the reliability of complex systems.
Be able to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to shared technical objectives.
Be able to work independently and manage tasks in an asynchronous environment.

Optimize the PostgreSQL driver used by PostgREST, which is built on Hasql.
Implement PostgREST features, resolve bugs, and advance the platform toward a scalable, multitenant Data API.
Investigate service issues, diagnose root causes, and improve API stability and performance.
Improve monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for operational issues.
Resolve incidents and escalated support requests, working to reduce recurring issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with cross-functional engineering teams.
Investigate user-reported problems and communicate solutions to users with varying technical expertise.
Contribute to open-source software and collaborate with its community.
Identify improvements to code quality, system architecture, debugging workflows, and developer experience.
