Requirements
- Bring a background in software engineering that has moved into platform or DevOps, or in infrastructure work that understands how software is built.
- Have Golang experience; strong experience in Java or .NET is also welcome.
- Bring hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS and Kubernetes.
- Be able to pick up unfamiliar systems quickly, including legacy systems.
- Communicate clearly when working in another team’s codebase or presenting to leadership.
- Be willing to join the on-call rotation after settling into the role.
Responsibilities
- Build support systems and tooling for test environments so engineers can test changes without waiting on blockers.
- Improve test data and enable frictionless testing across engineering teams.
- Work with Golang services and infrastructure built with Terraform on AWS, including Kubernetes, EC2 and Lambda.
- Contribute to initiatives to shorten feedback loops and increase engineering productivity.
- Join the on-call rotation to support the systems the team builds.
