Requirements
- Have written direct-response ads, long-form sales copy, and email for a high-ticket offer sold through booked sales calls within the last 18 months.
- Be able to show results such as cost per call, ROAS, or revenue attributed to your copy.
- Have personally written at least one VSL, webinar script, or long-form sales letter used as the main sales asset for an offer at scale.
- Have written Meta ad copy at volume and tracked which concepts performed and why.
- Have expertise in email broadcasts, sequences, deliverability, and revenue attribution.
- Have excellent written and spoken English at a native or near-native level.
- Be able to commit at least 20 hours per week, ideally 30 or more.
- Overlap at least 3 hours a day with European hours.
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on ad concepts, scripts, and primary text based on angles and customer profiles set by the Head of Paid Marketing.
- Write briefs and shot lists for video editors, review edits, and approve final ads before review.
- Brief the spokesperson for recordings and source, script, and brief testimonial ads.
- Write VSLs, opt-in pages, sales pages, TSLs, retargeting copy, and copy for CRO tests.
- Write daily email broadcasts and nurture, post-opt-in, show-up, and release sequences.
- Track email revenue and deliverability, report weekly performance, and share effective ideas with the ads team.
- Review sales calls, email replies, reports, competitor ads, and VSLs to inform research and iterations.
- Maintain objection and customer-language documentation, a swipe file, and ad win/loss tracking.
- Write to the claims standard and flag potentially risky copy before review.
