Hold a university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or have an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Have at least five years of hands-on software development experience.
Have at least two years of experience leading or managing software developers, engineers, or other technical specialists.
Bring practical experience with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
Have hands-on experience with modern web application technologies, particularly Python and Laravel.
Be able to support and work with legacy Java and WebLogic applications.
Have product ownership or product management experience, including requirements definition, backlog prioritization, and roadmap development.
Have experience coordinating internal development teams with external contractors or software development partners.
Understand software architecture, troubleshooting, platform evolution, and technical debt management.
Have working knowledge of digital user experience principles, including web and mobile interfaces, usability, and interaction design.
Be able to manage competing priorities, dependencies, resources, and deadlines.
Preferred: familiarity with Datadog, GitHub, Jira, Claude, and Figma.
Preferred: experience in a start-up or scale-up environment or leading legacy modernization or platform transformation.

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning software engineering, product ownership, business analysis, and project delivery.
Recruit, mentor, coach, and support team members through feedback, performance reviews, and professional development.
Improve Agile practices, backlog management, user story development, release planning, and delivery workflows.
Contribute to technical design, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and architectural decisions.
Modernize legacy Java and WebLogic applications toward Python and Laravel while keeping existing systems operational.
Develop and execute product roadmaps with internal stakeholders, aligning priorities and delivery plans with organizational objectives.
Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, technical specifications, and prioritized development plans.
Oversee projects and operational work, monitoring progress, dependencies, risks, quality, and resource requirements.
Coordinate external software development partners and contractors on scope, deliverables, quality, budgets, timelines, and knowledge transfer.
Maintain technical, operational, product, and project documentation and improve technology and delivery practices.
