Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
  • Have a track record at strong engineering companies, such as big tech or high-growth startups.
  • Demonstrate that you have driven direction on your teams.
  • Bring deep computer science and system design fundamentals, including the ability to explain how distributed systems fail.
  • Have heavy, hands-on experience using AI coding tools on real codebases.
  • Have experience building with LLMs, including agents, tool use, evaluations, prompt design, and context design.
  • Be proficient in TypeScript and have strong backend engineering fundamentals.
  • Have experience designing and operating distributed systems in cloud environments; AWS is preferred.
  • Have hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and production deployment practices.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and a team that changes shape.

Responsibilities

  • Run agentic coding workflows on production code and identify what holds up at scale.
  • Build tooling, guardrails, evaluations, and review practices that support trusted agent-written code.
  • Design systems for agent-written code and decide where humans need to remain in the loop.
  • Ship product changes and use them to test new engineering practices.
  • Build and ship customer-facing AI-powered product features using TypeScript, Go, and AWS.
  • Architect agentic workflows, LLM pipelines, and intelligent automation for customer security insights.
  • Integrate foundation models into product surfaces, considering latency, cost, output quality, and evaluation.
  • Lead architecture and code reviews focused on reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • Own projects from concept through production, monitoring, and post-launch improvement.
  • Pair with engineers, interview candidates, and document lessons for other teams.
